Harrisons Shipping was formed in 1992 with the merging of two companies, Jones Carriers Ltd., and Harrisons Cargo.

Jones Carriers was set up by The Capital Maharaja Organization in 1973 to handle its ever-increasing import and export activities. Harrisons Cargo was a division of Harrisons & Crossfield, a company that the Group assumed management of in 1989.

Working with freight forwarders around the globe, the company offers an extensive range of shipping and freight services. Its client list isn’t limited just to CMG subsidiaries but also other corporate giants including Fonterra Brands Lanka- longest standing client. We provide a range of services starting from freight to customs clearance.

Harrisons Shipping is a member of the Sri Lanka Logistics & Freight Forwarders Association (SLFFA) and International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA).
